Cleansing is arguably one of the most important (and often overlooked) steps in a skincare routine, and it's important to cleanse effectively but gently. Many cleansers are harsh and strip the skin of natural oils and prolonged use of aggressive cleansers can disrupt the skin barrier, resulting in tight, dry skin and irritation.
